Accommodation - SwitzerlandOur accommodation in Saas Grund is the family run hotel and apartments of the Zurbriggen family.
The accommodation consists of two and three person en-suite rooms and apartments. For those of you who have laptops, some rooms have free broadband access and there is also a free access point in the foyer. There are drying rooms for boots and ski gear and a garage set up for ski preparation.
The accommodation also has its own private swimming pool and fields immediately outside where we can play ball games and work on fitness.
In addition, there is a sauna and steam room should you require that extra bit of relaxation at the end of a hard day’s training.
Within 50m of the accommodation there is a ski shop that provides excellent base grinding services, a Migros supermarket and a bus stop connecting directly to the Geneva Airport train at Visp. Within 200m is the base station for the Hohsaas lift and within 300m there are all-weather tennis pitches and in Winter the village ice rink.
Once athletes arrive at our base, the only need to use a vehicle is for the Summer/Autumn 5 minute commute up to the Saas Fee gondola lift.
