We offer support for the many ski clubs who travel to the Alps each year by giving their trainees an opportunity to ski on the larger European slopes.
The logistics of organising a club camp can be made easier through using resources already out in the Alps whilst still retaining your club’s autonomy.
Some clubs also look for more than simply logistical support and to this end we can also help with providing some of our expert coaches to ensure your club receives the most current technical information.
Levels of support can include, but are not exclusive to:
- Accommodation and Logistics Only
Accommodation, meals and logistical support, such as all your gates and training aids, wax benches, vices etc (excluding electronic timing and video equipment). Located at a venue perfectly suited to the requirements of an alpine training camp with guaranteed snow (Saas Fee Glacier) and excellent off mountain training facilities for fitness and ski prep. Such facilities are also invaluable on days when skiing is impossible due to bad weather.
Please have a look on our Accommodation page to get a better feel for where our base is;
- Full Logistics plus Coach Coaching Support
Accommodation, meals, logistical support, wax room and equipment (including electronic timing and video equipment), plus a head coach to work with your club coaches. This option may be popular for those clubs who are normally centred around a UK slope but whose coaches do not have much experience of coaching on snow and who are themselves seeking a refresher course in the current techniques and current thinking of British Team Coaches; and
- Full Logistics and Coaching Support
Accommodation, meals, logistical support, a wax room and equipment (including electronic timing and video equipment), plus all coaching.
Have a look on our Equipment page to get a better feel for what equipment we use to improve the quality of the tuition and learning on camp.
Each year we run one or two coaching days for our coaches, with British Team coaches delivering seminars and clinics.
A further option for clubs may be to send their coaches to participate in these weekends and keep themselves current and up to date with the latest coaching information.
For further information on any of these options please contact us.
